Happy New Year

I just turned one year old on 12/29!

We had a great time at Grand-ma's celebrating Christmas and my first birthday.

What to wear...?

"Mom, can I wear this for Christmas?" Aya is already picking out her outfit for Christmas day. We wish her Auntie Christina could see her in the beautiful dress she sent her!

She also plans to stay nice and warm in the poncho her grand father sent her from Japan!

I'm so cool!

Thanksgiving in Novato

Aya got all dressed up to visit her grand-ma and Auntie Emi for Thanksgiving.
She had her first turkey dinner that her grand-ma made and loved it all! During our visit we went to the park to play, visited the neighbor's horses and lama, and spent an afternoon in Pt. Reyes.

Tonight's dessert

Aya is snacking on a slice of persimmon her auntie Emi brought us last night. She prefers finger foods over pureed fruit now.

Clean Baby

Aya just got out of the bath and is getting ready for bed.

(Below) She now has her own toothbrush and is brushing her teeth with her dad.

Tourist for a day

At Pier 39 at Fisherman's Wharf. Aya got to see the sea lions, visit the Mechanical Museum (www.museemechanique.org) and enjoy the view of Alcatraz.

Auntie Zoe's Visit

It didn't take long before Aya was showing Auntie Zoe how to play with her toys. They had a great time dancing and giggling!

Aya is already busy at play first thing in the morning.

Sunday outing

On our way to Japan Town to get some lunch. She usually doesn't like the car seat too much, but today she was well-behaved:)

Happy Holloween!

Aya was Super Baby for Halloween night.
We went down to 24th street where the merchants were giving out candy to the local kids. We met some friends to go trick-or-treating, and see all the great costumes. Her dad was able to come meet us after work, too!
