Got a hair cut!

"Hatsuhinode"-First sunrise of the year

"Ozo-ni" a traditional new years soup with veggies, chicken and mochi. It is a Japanese custom to eat mochi for new years.

"Isobe-yaki"-mochi with soy sauce and nori. The kids seemed to like this a lot.

Aya turned 4 years old on 12/29. Emi baked her a birthday cake for the occasion.
